Being the helpful guy I am, I accompanied a couple of fellow Lindenwood alumni to a music video shoot with Murphy Lee of the St. Lunatics. For those of you that don’t know, the St. Lunatics is an all-St. Louis born hip hop crew, and the group Nelly started his career with. Adam Johnson is the one you’ll see with the RED camera (this dude’s gonna be filming a feature film for the SyFy Chanel soon!), Mike Gualdo-dino is the bearded fellow with the Black Magic. I haven’t had a chance to shoot with one yet, but I hear they’re a mixed bag. I’ll have to see for myself some day soon. Joey (the small one with the 7D) and I came on to help as grips, but ended up being extra cameras for the shoot since we were racing against the sunset. I was originally there to shoot photos, but ended up alternating between photo and video (which may or may not be turning my photography into cinematic stills).
These photos are from the first day of shooting at the skate park under South Kingshighway in St. Louis.
